I have been wary of talking too much crap about the upcoming election. The pain and suffering of 2004 is just too fresh. The wounds haven't quite healed. To put it mildly... I'm still bitter. I was sure that this country would toss W out on his faux-country bumpkin' ass. And then... well you know the story. I wept like a baby.

Something miraculous has happened in the last few days that has changed my outlook on this whole election. Ladies and gentlemen, the Republicans are fucked.

Imagine you're my grandmother. You're in your 80s and you live alone in a tiny apartment in a small town in Michigan. You worked a blue collar job after raising 3 children. You have been a Republican for your entire adult life. You are an Evangelical and you attend church on a weekly basis. You read the Bible. You voted for W in 2004.
